Embracing Peace
Isaiah 9:6-For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (KJV)
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace ever-present to be embraced.
Choosing to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ is a purely voluntary decision.
Opening the heart, mind and soul to Jesus Christ results in interior peace.
The mind, heart and soul change when experiencing the peace of Christ.
The peace of Christ is available throughout the world and throughout life.
Romans 14:17-For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (KJV)
Believers are free to establish and choose their personal goals and values.
The Church encourages. guides and leads believers toward God’s Kingdom.
The Divine Liturgy offers a foretaste of the peace existing in God’s Kingdom.
Experiencing peace in the Divine Liturgy inspires and strengthen believers.
Joy emanates from the peace of the Lord God found in the Divine Liturgy.
I Corinthians 14:33-For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (KJV)
The Church is a sanctuary of peace in a world having confusion and disorder.
Peace in the Church enables believers to collect themselves and meet the world.
The Church is a fortress of peace standing firm against the world’s violence.
The Prince of Peace offers an alternative to the violence prevalent in the world.
The saints are examples of peace serving as models for willing believers to follow.
Philippians 4:7-And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (KJV)
God’s peace in the heart transforms and shapes the believer’s daily relationships.
Peace in the heart reveals the futility of aggression and violence in relationships.
Home life is much better when the believer’s heart is filled with God’s peace.
The Holy Scriptures offer believers lasting lessons on the place of peace in life.
Wise believers search the Scripture to find peace to fill the heart, mind and soul.
Colossians 3:15-And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. (KJV)
God’s Holy Church unites believers in peace as the Body of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The opportunity to repent in the Church encourages believers to seek peace.
Repentance brings peace to the heart, mind and soul and replaces sinful torment.
Partakers of the Precious Body and Blood of Christ experience the Divine Peace.
Grateful believers readily thank God for bringing peace to the heart, mind and soul.
